With the public’s support, we hope to be able to help more and more individuals obtain the fresh start provided by bankruptcy, so they can be better able to support themselves and their families. Our clients are single mothers saddled with debt from job loss, veterans struggling with medical bills, and individuals staying in shelters. After bankruptcy the financial fresh start and emotional relief is immediate. But for individuals who need this help the most, bankruptcy is simply out of reach. To hire a lawyer the legal fee can average around $1,500. When your total income is a mere $500 a month, this amount is devastating. With your help, we can ensure everyone in Massachusetts can have the same access to debt relief.
